Ag Galerie is pleased to present Parnian Ferdossi’s first solo exhibition titled “I, Travel”, a collection of forty-two photographic collages, and an archive of found images, taken on her trips during the course of one year. These works represent border crossings and the significance of physical identity traits used by governments to profile travellers.  Borders, whether on maps or as physical barriers on the ground, not only separate and alienate nations from one another, but on a larger scale also take on a discriminatory attitude for some nationalities.

Parnian Ferdossi received her AA in Economics from AlZahra University, a BA in Photography from University of Tehran, an MA in Photography and Urban Cultures from Goldsmiths, University of London and is currently a PhD candidate at Birkbeck, University of London. She lives and works between London and Tehran.
